72/100

Popsicle Stack is the ultimate 'commuter' game. It doesn't ask for much brainpower, but the visual payoff of seeing a perfectly dipped and sprinkled stack of 20 popsicles is surprisingly rewarding. The haptic feedback on iOS feels great, adding a tactile sense to the 'pop' of each collection.

It follows the classic mobile runner template, but the theme is well-executed. The difficulty curve is gentle, though the obstacles do get tricky in the higher levels. It's bright, cheery, and perfect for killing five minutes. It won't change your life, but it’s a very competent and enjoyable example of the genre.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. This is essentially 'Angry Birds' in space, but with a bit more soul and a lot more gravity. The physics are the star of the show. Navigating orbits feels tactile and satisfying. The art style is 'cute,' which usually turns me off, but here it's clean and doesn't interfere with the gameplay.

It’s on Apple Arcade, so no ads, which is a win. It gets quite difficult in the later stages, requiring pixel-perfect timing that can be a bit annoying with touch controls. It’s a solid piece of software, well-engineered, and perfect for short bursts. It won’t replace a deep PC sim, but for what it is, it’s well-executed.
